It is believed that even the smallest change in a person can have a deep impact in its surrounding for the better.
The youth are motivated to bring a change within the society, that is initiated with them and perpetuated through them. It is at a juncture like this that the MRA comes to play a crucial role. MRA helps a person develop better interpersonal skills which are pivotal to carve someone to become not only successful but also a compassionate and cooperative team member.
Hem Bahadur Thapa from Jurudi, was a very shy person, underconfident to talk in front of an audience. He was studyingat NIIT computer centerwhere he got engagedwith the activities of Tata Steel Foundation through which he was sent to the MRA programme. Today he is providing defense training in Berhampur. Hem Bahadur Thapa says,“I am pleased and grateful to TSF for giving me the opportunity to attendthe MRA training that helped me lot in personality development. Today I can speak to any person without the fear of being judged and express myself. I no longer feel have any shyness and meet people freely. I also encourage othersto speak their hearts out. Even I refer my friends to attend such motivating and enthusiasm program.
Raibari Munda from Bichakundi, says, “I am happy that I had attended the MRA trainingwhere we were taught how to make use of a minute effectively instead of wasting our time.We should not waste any opportunity which can lead us to reach our goals. I became more self-motivated after joining the MRA training. It polished my leadership quality. I am very grateful to the Tata Steel Foundation for providing us the valuable session.
The objective of the MRA camp is to instill in the participants a sense of social responsibility as an ethical duty for being a citizen in this country . Through these camps,the Tata Steel Foundationaims at motivating young people to walk on the path of effective leadership through effective living, along with maintaining good human relations and build teamsforactivities that will lead to deeper impact, inner development for greater character and personality, ability to expand their outreach& commitments through their plan, provide solutions to the problems through the tenets of P.H.U.L.(Purity, Honesty, Unselfishness, and Love).
